Credits and voting

You can earn 2-week Pro tier without paying by voting for Blify Mod on top.gg. This page covers the credit system and the four commands that go with it.

#How credits work

Action Result
Vote on top.gg +5 credits (or +10 with a 7-day streak)
Vote cooldown 12 hours (top.gg's, not ours)
Streak threshold 7 consecutive UTC days of voting → 10/vote bonus
Missed a day Streak resets to 1 on next vote
Spend 500 credits 2 weeks of Pro tier
Re-redeem before expiry Extends the existing redemption by 2 weeks
Streak after redemption Resets to 0

Credits never expire. The streak resets whenever you skip a UTC day.

Get the top.gg vote link plus your current balance.

/vote

The reply shows:

  • A link to top.gg
  • Your current credit balance
  • Your current daily streak (and how close you are to the 10/vote bonus)
  • When your next vote is available

You don't need to use this command to vote — top.gg works the same whether you got there from /vote or directly. It's just a convenience.

Shows:

  • Balance and progress toward 500
  • Earning rate (5 or 10 per vote based on streak)
  • Current streak days
  • Next-vote cooldown
  • Whether you have an active Pro redemption (and when it expires)
  • Whether you've opted out of credit-earning

#/credits-toggle

Opt in or out of earning credits. Some users would rather support the bot via voting without accumulating credits — this lets you do that while still helping the bot's top.gg ranking.

Opting out does not affect your existing balance. You can opt back in any time and pick up where you left off — votes you cast while opted out simply won't have awarded credits.

Spend 500 credits for 2 weeks of Pro tier.

/redeem-pro-tier

Important constraints:

  • Must be run in the support server. That's where the Pro role lives.
  • Costs 500 credits (not refundable).
  • Resets your streak to 0.
  • If you redeem again before your existing redemption expires, the new 2 weeks extend the existing expiry rather than replacing it.

After redemption, the Pro role is added to your account in the support server, and you can /pro claim it on the server of your choice. The role is removed automatically when the redemption expires — you don't need to do anything.

#Anti-abuse

The bot deduplicates vote credits in three ways to handle top.gg's occasional duplicate webhook deliveries:

  • 1-hour deduplication window (catches near-instant retries)
  • One credit award per UTC day per user (catches late retries)
  • 12-hour cooldown enforced by top.gg itself
